Eid ul Adha (1443-2022) Announcement

All praise is for Allah Almighty. May the peace and blessing be upon the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم, his family, the faithful companions, and all those who follow them.

In consistence with the Council’s endeavors to focus on the higher objectives of the Shari’āh, the Council has resolved to celebrate Eid al-Adha following the day of ‘Arafah.

Therefore, the 1st of Dhul Hijjah will be on Thursday, June 30, 2022, and Eid al-Adha will be celebrated on Saturday, July 9, 2022, In Sha’ā Allah.

We are happy to share with you that registration for SNMC’s Al-Bushra Educational Summer Camp 2022 (in person) has begun!

Al-Bushra Educational Summer Camp offers an affordable educational summer program to families across Ottawa in-sha’Allah. We focus on providing an opportunity for children, ages 9 to 13, to flourish in a healthy and enjoyable environment, while learning about deen and the Qur’an.

Age: Youth ages 9 – 13 (verification of the participant’s age might be requested)

Dates: July 5th to August 2nd, 2022

Time: Monday to Thursday from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Friday half day.

Location: SNMC Masjid at 3020 Woodroffe Ave.

Fees: $200 (non-refundable)

Youth Night at SNMC on July 1

We are very happy to announce that AMA and SNMC will hosting the Youth Night Sleepover for boys aged 14+.

When (day): Friday, July 1, Canada Day

When (time): 8:30 pm – 4:00 AM, Saturday July 2, 2022

Where: SNMC Mosque – 3020 Woodroffe Ave

Who: Boys aged 14+

This will be an exciting event that will include basketball, soccer, video games, ping pong, food and much more!

You asked & we listened! SNMC Youth is excited to present another Girls I’tikaf Sleepover. Come join us for a night of discussions, ibadah, sports, activities, snacks and fun! Please bring sleeping gear (sleeping bag, pillow, pjs, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc.)
