In Sura Ankabut, Allah swt declares,
29:2 أَحَسِبَ ٱلنَّاسُ أَن يُتْرَكُوٓا۟ أَن يَقُولُوٓا۟ ءَامَنَّا وَهُمْ لَا يُفْتَنُونَ
Do people think once they say, “We believe,” that they will be left without being put to the test?
We all know, Allah swt tested Bilal (R), Khabbab (R), Sumaya (R) and so many others. May Allah be pleased with all of them.
Allah likes to test all of us on our faith, our sincerity, to forgive us, and to enhance our status. Sometimes Allah swt tests by taking away crops, sometimes by making us sick, sometimes by wiping out our wealth, sometimes by bestowing more wealth.
We pray Allah swt give us an easy test and make us humble and closer to Him. Ameen
