REVIVING THE ISLAMIC SPIRIT 2018 – DIVINE ILLUMINATIONS

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatu,
With the grace and blessings of Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’Ala), the Reviving the Islamic Spirit (RIS) Convention is returning for its historic 17th year and we would like to invite your Huffaz, students of Qur’an to join the inception of the Divine Illuminations Qur’an Competition.
We are searching for talented individuals (both brothers and sister’s) to recite the Qur’an in front of a crowd of thousands of people featuring both local and international competitors. Through this format of competition, we are expecting the audience to be mesmerized and inspired at new levels by reflecting on the beauty of memorizing and reciting as well as learning the Holy Qur’an.
The competition will be separated into 2 categories which include Juz 1-5 for younger individuals and a full Qur’an competition for everyone. During the pre-selection phase, all of the participants will be judged by locally renowned Shuyookh and teachers of Qur’an and will advance to our final stage of competition at RIS 2018. The winners of the Qur’an competition will recite the Qur’an on the main stage before the evening sessions of the main convention program. The final winner of the Full Qur’an competition will receive the grand prize of an Umrah trip and the remaining winners will receive monetary prizes!
The intention of Divine Illuminations is to become closer to Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) through learning, memorizing, being inspired and reciting His Book and applying the lessons and teachings in our lives to revive our own Islamic spirit. We hope to illuminate your hearts and minds with the Divine Qur’an and facilitate the growth of your love for the Qur’an and allow you to become closer with His Deen.
