With great sadness we are conveying the sad news about the passing of Sister Rabia Vohra, the dear mother of Br. Tariq Ali Vohra
Janazah prayer will be offered on Sunday, February 4 at
Jami Omar after Dhuhr prayer at 12:30 pm.

The burial will take place afterwards at:the Ottawa Muslim Cemetery,
1668 Manotick Station Road, Ottawa, K4P 1M9.
May Allah Almighty shower His blessings, mercy and forgiveness upon her, elevate her to al-Firdaus and may He grant comfort and strength to her loved ones at this difficult time.
May Allah SWT accord him highest place in Jannat ul Firdaus and give Sabr Jameel to the family Ameen.
We pray, may Allah SWT,forgive hisshort comings, make his grave fill with noor and grant him Jannah-tul Ferdaous.

After a person passes, three things benefit him in grave, a) His good children by making Dua, b) his good actions like spreading knowledge, c) Sadaqa-e-jarai, like building masjid, hospital or school or donating to a waqaf foundation.

Holy Quran says, “Every soul will taste of death. And you will be paid on the Day of Resurrection only that which you have fairly earned. Who is removed from the Fire and is made to enter paradise, he indeed is triumphant. The life of this world is but comfort of illusion.” (Al Qur’an 3:185).

We need to plan and prepare for the house where we will stay thousands and thousands of years compared to our transit house of less then 100 years.
