Br Raees Ahmed is a Rohingya-Canadian human rights activist who had the opportunity to spend some time in the Rohingya refugee camps in Cox Bazaar, Bangladesh a few months ago. He will be sharing his experiences from this visit and provide a first-hand account of the suffering of the Rohingya people and what we can do to help.

Br. Latif Ahmed, a local resident of Kanata, took apart in a week-long fundraising cycle challenge in Andalusia, Spain in 2017. He was part of a group of cyclists from Canada and UK that cycled from Cordoba to Granada, a distance of approximately 200 km, to help raise money for Rohingya Muslims affected by the conflict in Myanmar.  He will be sharing his experiences from the cycling journey via a photographic presentation and discuss the challenges and lessons learned while cycling through a historical route through Andalusia.
