Please check these two events coming up from the Social Planning Council of Ottawa in June, for the Seniors Month, register online as soon as possible. It is simple to register.
It is very important that our seniors should come out to attend these events if we want an extension of the funding for the senior’s program.

Seniors Month:
it is our pleasure to invite you to celebrate Seniors’ Month 2019, on June 19, 2019, at City Hall. Join us in celebrating the contributions of seniors to our lives and communities!
Event details:

Time: 9:00am – 11:00am
Location: Jean Pigott Hall, City Hall (100 Laurier Ave W)
The event is also an opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments of the City Older Adult Plan and its contributions to create a more age-friendly City, hear about the findings from the community consultations hosted in 2018, and learn more about the direction of the new Older Adult Plan 2019-2022.
A light breakfast will be served, and the event will feature presentations and performances.

Come out and support our ethno-cultural seniors to raise funds to support isolated seniors so that they can attend social and recreational activities and help pay for space rental to hold these activities.
