Dhul Hijjah Challenge

Day 1 – Prepare for Success

๐ŸŽ 1- Charity: Invest in your everlasting account by giving for the sake of Allah. Even smiling is a charity.

๐Ÿ“ฟ 2- Rememberance: spend an extra 3 minutes doing dhikr after each salah

๐Ÿ’ญ 3- Reflect: spend 5 minutes reflecting on the blessings bestowed upon you and how youโ€™d like to get closer to Allah this year. Spend another 5 minutes turning them into duโ€˜as by thanking Allah for the blessings and asking His help to achieve your goals.

๐Ÿ•Œ 4- Connect: Set yourself up to pray 12 sunnah prayers (2 before Fajr, 4 before Zuhur & 2 after, 2 after Maghreb and 2 after Isha).

๐ŸŒ™ 5- Fast: Plan and follow through on fasting. Canโ€™t fast all 9 days? Try fasting at least on Mondays and Thursdays (the Prophet ๏ทบ regularly fasted these days), and especially make sure to fast on the Day of Arafah (it expiates sins for the previous and the upcoming year)

Day 2: Rememberance (Dhikr)

๐ŸŽ 1- Rememberance: recite Ayatul Kursi after each salah and before going to sleep

๐Ÿ•Œ 2- Plan: make a plan for tomorrow – the only Friday in these blessed 10 days. Plan to recite surah AlKahf, and to go to Friday prayers (for males)

๐Ÿ“š 3- Learn: learn and dive into one of Allahโ€™s 99 names, and use it in your duaas!

๐ŸŒฑ 4- Review: revise a Surah youโ€™ve previously memorized and recite it in your prayers

๐Ÿ“‘ 5- Reflection: Spend at least 30 mins to delve into the meanings of the surah youโ€™ve revised and reflect deeply upon it
