SNMC welcomes everyone who would like to know about SNMC’s financial report and annual general report, and to meet new members of the board of directors.

Please note that only active SNMC members are eligible to vote during the AGM. To be an active member one must have donated at least $240 in 2018 AND volunteered for at least 100 hours in the same year.

for Research in Muslim Contemplative Practices and Life Satisfaction

If you identify as a person of the Muslim faith, have English language proficiency, and is at least 18 years old please consider participating in this study

As a participant in this study, you will be asked to complete an anonymous online survey on the relationship between contemplative practices and life satisfaction. It will take approximately 15 minutes to complete this survey.

Dear SNMC Members,

Please note that Daylight Saving Time ends on Sunday November 4, 2018 at 2:00 AM.

Therefore, prayer times at SNMC will also change as follows:

Fajr 6.00 a.m., Zuhr 12:30 p.m., Asr 3.00 p.m., Maghrib 4.50 p.m., Isha 8 p.m.

Effective Friday November 9^th, the 1st Jumah prayer starts at 12:00 p.m. and the 2nd will be at 1.15 p.m.

SNMC Youth is holding its Third Annual SNMC Youth Empowerment Camp at SNMC Masjid for both boys and girls (ages 6-12). Children will have the chance to have fun, make new friends, stay active, and simultaneously explore their religion.

Who can attend?
Boys and girls aged 6-12. They will be separated into four different groups by gender and age.

When is it?
July 23rd – July 27th – Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 3 PM.

Where is it?
SNMC Masjid, 3020 Woodroffe Ave. (drop off/pick up location).

When can children be dropped off/ picked up?
For drop-off, volunteers will be here as early as 8:00 AM, and for pick-up, volunteers will stay as late as 4:00 PM.

What are the costs?
150$ for each child.
