Calling all parents and toddlers! Are you looking to get active and beat the winter blues? Join us for parent and toddler weekly sports at SNMC gym. The program will feature a combination of soccer, basketball, martial arts, and free play (equipment and instructor permitting) so bring your indoor shoes and afternoon snacks and join us in-sha’Allah.

Age: 2 to 4 years old

Time: On Tuesdays 5:30pm to 6:15pm  (Jan 3, 2023 to April 4, 2023)

Location: SNMC gym @ 3020 Woodroffe Ave.

City of Ottawa has issued a winter weather parking ban. The ban will be in effect starting 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 23 until 7 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 24.

During the ban, parking is prohibited on city streets so crews can plow easily and effectively.

Vehicles parked on the street during a ban may be ticketed and towed.

When you come for Jumaa tomorrow, please don’t park on the streets around SNMC.

Michaelle Jean school (11 Claridge Dr.) parking will be open for SNMC community use during Jumaa.

Please arrive early so that you can find and park in legal parking spots

Seasonal parking restrictions prohibiting parking in certain areas are in effect between December 1 and March 31. This ensures streets remain passable for all road users.

A seasonal parking restriction is in place for some of the streets in SNMC neighborhood. Parking on the south/east side of Spring beauty Ave is prohibited, parking on the other side of Spring beauty is still allowed. Please check and follow the parking signs before parking.

SNMC Youth is excited to announce Girls’ Basketball Skills Development. Whether you are a beginner or a pro, come join us to learn, develop and enhance your basketball skills in a fun and safe environment! This program will be run by a dedicated coaching team that are committed to help you acquire the tools and skill set through on-court training and guide you every step of the way.

When: Monday 6pm-8pm (January 9th-March 6th)

Who: Girls 12-16
