Day 266: The Key to Happiness: Sabr (Patience)!
It was narrated by Anas ibn Malik (r) that the Prophet said: “Verily, patience is at the first strike.”
عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ََ إِنَّمَا الصَّبْرُ عِنْدَ الصَّدْمَةِ الْأُولَى

Day 265: Patience (Sabr) is Illumination!
Narrated by Abu Sa’id Al Khudri (r) that the Prophet (S) said: “There is no gift, given to anyone, that is better and more comprehensive than patience.”
وَمَا أُعْطِيَ أَحَدٌ عَطَاءً خَيْرًا وَأَوْسَعَ مِنْ الصَّبْرِ

Day 263: Believers Bring Themselves to Account (Muhasabah) Regularly!
Narrated Shaddad ibn Aws (r) that the Prophet (S) said: “The wise person is one who holds himself/herself accountable and performs good deeds to prepare for what comes after death. The foolish person is one who gives into his/her lowly desires and merely hopes in Allah (have wishful thinking).”
عَنْ شَدَّادِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الْكَيِّسُ مَنْ دَانَ نَفْسَهُ وَعَمِلَ لِمَا بَعْدَ الْمَوْتِ وَالْعَاجِزُ مَنْ أَتْبَعَ نَفْسَهُ هَوَاهَا وَتَمَنَّى عَلَى اللَّهِ

As a test, Allah swt gives sickness to believers. Those who accept the sickness and surrender to Allah’s will like prophet Ayyub AHS, see their status enhanced by Allah swt. Allah swt tested, as stated in the Quran, the best human beings, some of the prophets, the prophet Ayyub AHS, the most notable among them.

وَلَقَدۡ ضَرَبۡنَا لِلنَّاسِ فِي هَٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانِ مِن كُلِّ مَثَلٖۚ وَلَئِن جِئۡتَهُم بِـَٔايَةٖ لَّيَقُولَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓاْ إِنۡ أَنتُمۡ إِلَّا مُبۡطِلُونَ ٥٨
We have certainly set forth every ˹kind of˺ lesson for people in this Quran.

Day 264: Practical Muslim Response to the Surge of Omicron COVID Variant (UPDATED VERSION)
Narrated by Abu Salama (r) that our Prophet (S) instructed believers: “Not to mix the sick person with the healthy one.”
أَنْ لاَ يُورِدُ مُمْرِضٌ عَلَى مُصِحٍّ
Source: Muslim
Transliteration: “An La Yuridu Mumridun ‘Ala Musihh.”
It is more than two years since we realized that the new virus surfaced among us, globally and nationally.
