South Nepean Muslim Community, a not-for-profit community – charitable organization committed to serving Muslims in the Nepean area, is seeking an:

Discussion Group Leader (Summer Student Position)

This is a unique opportunity for students looking to gain experience in Islamic leadership under the guidance of an experienced Imam, especially for those who have a degree/diploma in higher Islamic studies or are planning to obtain one in the future.

Funding for this position is provided by the Canada Summer Jobs Program of Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC). This contract and its duration are dependent on receipt of ESDC funding.

Classification: Full-time contract

Office location: Barrhaven, Ontario

No of positions: 1

Salary: $15.5 per hour

No. of weeks per job: 6

Hours per week per job: 30

Total hours: 180

Starting date: June 12, 2022
