As Canada’s first medical convoy has returned from Gaza, SNMC is eager to announce a talk with Dr. Anas Al-Kassem as he recounts his medical experience in Gaza. Dr. Al-Kassem is a talented trauma surgeon with many years of experience and a member of UOSSM. The talk will be followed by a fundraiser for UOSSM to help their medical efforts. We look forward to seeing you there! All are welcome!

The SNMC Media Team is embarking on a quest to enhance our community outreach through various media platforms. We are in search of dedicated individuals who possess the skills and expertise to elevate and expand SNMC media presence and impact within the community.

This presents a golden opportunity to amass blessings and contribute to a noble cause, by the permission of Allah. It’s also a chance to hone and showcase your media prowess and sharpen your skills. If you’re keen to be part of this endeavor, please review the following requirements:

Requirements:

• Proficiency in graphic design and video editing software, with familiarity in tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Premiere. Knowledge of web-based tools such as Canva is acceptable but given lower priority.
• Experience in managing social media platforms including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
• Proficiency in photography and videography, with the ability to deliver high-quality visual and auditory content.
• Understanding of effective marketing strategies.
• Willingness to attend mosque programs regularly.
• Responsibility and responsiveness.

Calling all spirited young athletes! Join us in the world of sports, teamwork, and fun with our dedicated coach who is passionate about empowering young girls through basketball. 🏀 Whether you’re a seasoned player or just starting out, everyone is welcome!

The goal of the program is to form lasting friendships, enhance your skills, and build confidence on and off the court in a positive and inclusive environment for every participant while staying connected to Allah with weekly reminders and being in the safety of the masjid.
