Free SNMC Taraweeh Childcare: Welcome Notes and Guideline

SNMC has made special arrangements this Ramadan for Professional Childcare for children ages 4 – 7 years to make it easier for parents during Taraweeh prayers.

We encourage all parents to enroll their kids every night in the Taraweeh Childcare program.  Time 10.15pm to 12.15am  SNNMC has paid experienced and experienced volunteers.

If you choose to keep your kids with you in the Mommy & Me room (for Mom’s and children upto 7 years old), then the parent must remain with their child at all times.

No children are allowed in the Mommy & Me room alone.

SNMC’s Ramadan Childcare Service is unique and we expect high demand for it.

Therefore, placement in the Childcare Service each night is on a first come, first-serve basis, so we highly recommend that parents arrive early.

Important Notes & Guidelines

Childcare offered from 10:15PM – 12:15AM Daily during Taraweeh in the SNMC basement

Children must be fed prior to arriving for Childcare Services

Sign in and Sign out by parents will be required to drop off/pick up a child.

All children must be potty-trained.

First-come first-served basis.

No food will be served to the kids during Childcare. Children can bring a fruit for a snack for themselves.

Children 8 and above should be participating in prayers

No children can be left unattended at SNMC

No children are to be in the lobby, hallways or stairwells, parking lot without adult supervision.

 The Childcare is to help those parents who wish to pray Taraweeh and not a play area or drop-off. It is closed at12:15 am so all children who are not picked up will be brought upstairs and given back to their parents. If any sisters/teenage girls (for high school hours) would like to volunteer to help with childcare- please or approach the sisters in the basement. Thank you.
