SNMC 12th Annual Scholarship

SNMC is a grassroots, non-partisan, non-profit community-oriented Muslim organization. Every year, SNMC awards scholarships of $600 to $1000 to students pursuing full-time studies in an accredited program at a Canadian college or university. These scholarships are open to students completing grade 12 of high school or continuing in their first degree or diploma program.

The student may study anywhere in Canada but he/she or one of his/her parents must be a resident of Ottawa-Gatineau. The student must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or refugee.

The scholarships are awarded using the following criteria:

a) Financial Need
b) Good Academic Standing (minimum B average)
c) Community Volunteer Experience
d) Community References

Successful applicants will be notified by email or phone call by Sunday, April 30th, 2017. The award will be presented on Sunday, May 7th, 2017 at SNMC, 3020 Woodroffe Ave during the SNMC Annual Dinner.

Note: Those candidates who have applied for SNMC scholarship through their own school are not eligible to apply via SNMC and vice versa.
